Theme: “FIRE, WATER, EARTH”
Under the patronage of the mayor of Gourin Mr.David de Solliec
and in cooperation with the Municipality of Gourin, Lycee St.Yves-Gourin and Mme Nicole Jamet- exhibition organizer in the Castle of Tronjoly -Gourin
This is an open call to visual artists to participate in the exhibition which will take place in the picturesque 17th century Le Chateau de Tronjoly, located in the heart of Bretagne, France. The city of Gourin is not very far from the famous Pont-Aven-an inspiration for artists such as Paul Gauguin, Emile Bertrand, Charles Laval, Emile Schuffenecker and many others.
Theme: “Fire, Water, Earth” – The triskell of Bretogne symbolize these fundamental elements. Yet, they are universal and life-giving for the humanity everywhere on our planet.
Deadline: 15 FEBRUARY 2014 (works arrival)
There is NO PARTICIPATION FEE.
Exhibition sections:
1.Painting (oil, guache, acrylic, aquarelle, pastel, collage, monotype, mixed, etc.)
2.Graphic (intaglio, collography, dry point, lino, lithography, ink, mixed, etc. )
3. Photography and digital art (only printed photocopies will be accepted)
Note!!! You can send works made ONLY on PAPER!!!!
Size: Maximum format 25 x 20 cm (the paper size of the works)
Artists can participate in each section with 2 works maximum, unframed and without passepartout.
Please, send your works well-packed and write NO COMMERCIAL VALUE on the envelope. The organizers are not responsible for any damages during the transportation.
